Research Executive Summaries

As a result of the investment in research and evaluation, an increasing amount of information is available to inform CREDO and the wider Church about the health and wellness of its people and leaders.

At the time of its inception, CREDO made a conscientious commitment to include longitudinal, scientifically designed research and evaluation as an integrated program component. As a result of this commitment to research, it has been possible to statistically monitor and document the effectiveness of CREDO in influencing the well-being of clergy and others in the Episcopal Church.

Approach

CREDO uses a rigorous approach to the research and evaluation process that is:

  1. Grounded in assessment and evaluation literature
  2. Integrated with sound research methodological approaches
  3. Thorough in planning and design processes
  4. Consistent in data collection, analysis, and presentation
  5. Multifaceted in its approach
  6. Ongoing in critical critique with a plan for continuous improvement
