CREDO I Six-Day Conference

The CREDO I Six-Day Conference grew out of the expressed need of a significant number of clergy for a CREDO Conference offering the same deep and transformative curriculum as the CREDO I Eight-Day Conference in a timeframe that better fits their tight schedules.

The CREDO 1 Six-Day Conference is designed for all ages. The conference curriculum includes a robust offering of pre- and post-conference resources, a carefully crafted blend of learning opportunities and activities during the conference that support an experiential learning model, and the holistic understanding of wellness that is the cornerstone of the CREDO process. The design seeks to honor each person and recognizes that participants have different needs and learning styles.

The CREDO 1 Six-Day Conference begins on a Monday and concludes on a Saturday or begins on a Wednesday and concludes on a Monday. Throughout the week, you will experience large group gatherings and the opportunity for more intimate discussions with a select small group. Participants learn through faculty-led workshops and plenaries, and fully engage in one-on-one consultations with experienced faculty members. Interspersed with times of listening, questioning, and learning are quiet times for reflection, worship, and contemplation. Participants find the atmosphere conducive for physical activity as well as relaxed social time and opportunities for fun, laughter, and joy.

The CREDO Conference objective is to provide tools and time to focus on one's spiritual, vocational, financial, physical, and emotional well-being. With the accompaniment of an experienced faculty team, the conference becomes a true learning community through which all the participants share their knowledge, experience, compassion, and care with one another. A CREDO Conference will help you replenish your spirit and rediscover the passion that first animated your call to ministry.
